Fire and Ice Bike (Click to enlarge)
I assembled this bike for Monte before the Vegas bike show in October of 2005. He had purchased the rolling chassis and some of the parts, but his vision of the bike was different than what we had to work with. I took his split tank and made it into a single tank. took the front fender and added an inch to the middle and cut a design out of the rear fender that he already had. We used an S&S 96 ci. motor with a 6 speed transmission and a 250 rear tire. The open belt drive added to the aggressive look of the bike. The ignition switch is housed in a medieval knife that Monte wanted to use. The bike is currently being used as a display for Monte's artwork. He painted murals on almost every inch on the sheet metal. Splitting the bike down the center is a Celtic knot work that separates a dark fire side from the light colored cold ice side.
