First Bike

This was is the first Blacktop Chopper.  I finished this bike about a month before Sturgis 2005.  It is a 2004 with a softail frame, 38 degree rake, springer front end and a 100 ci revetch motor with a 5 speed transmission.  I originally painted this bike myself, just a plain black.  I then had realistic flames put on it that really made it stand out.  Roy Totman of liquid transformations did the flames on it.  You can check out his website at www.liquidtransformations.com.  I have removed the baffles out of the vance and hines big radius exhaust, so it sounds a lot meaner, and has a little bit more in the low end.  I rode the bike to Sturgis and back and had a great time on it.  It turned out to be a road worthy ride.  Not as comfortable as a Road King, but a lot more fun.

Fire and Ice Bike

I assembled this bike for Monte before the Vegas bike show in October of 2005.  He had purchased the rolling chassis and some of the parts, but his vision of the bike was different than what we had to work with.  I took his split tank and made it into a single tank. took the front fender and added an inch to the middle and cut a design out of the rear fender that he already had.  We used an S&S 96 ci. motor with a 6 speed transmission and a 250 rear tire.  The open belt drive added to the aggressive look of the bike.  The ignition switch is housed in a medieval knife that Monte wanted to use.  The bike is currently being used as a display for Monte's artwork.  He painted murals on almost every inch on the sheet metal.  Splitting the bike down the center is a Celtic knot work that separates a dark fire side from the light colored cold ice side.  The bike was sold though Monte, you can contact him at mavmktg@qadas.com to see his web-site at http://www.maverickcustompaint.com/ .

Twisted

(Monte is seen in the April 2007 issue of Easyriders Magazine painting the twisted bike)

The twisted bike was built for a friend of mine that wanted something that could really show well.  In the design process I took his ideas and added to them to create this great looking bike.  It has a soft tail frame from rolling thunder powered by a 113" S&S motor with a 6 speed transmission.  The metal flake and kandy was put down again by Roy Totman.  I added my spade logo into the kandy and Monte from http://www.maverickcustompaint.com/  put the girl onto the tank.  Perse provided the twisted front end and the twisted headlight.  I made the one-of-a-kind twisted fender struts and the motor mount.  The rotors were custom designed and cut with the help of Front Range Motorcycles,  Deep Cut Rotors, and Wesco laser.  I made a custom set of pipes.  For being a longer bike it handles like a dream.  The bike is for sale.

Original price $32,500 (call for new pricing)

78' Shovel

The 78' was / is  a continual project that I have built for myself to ride.  I wanted something simple and fun.  It has a 78' shovelhead motor and a 4 speed kick only transmission.  As usual I put on a Perse Performance front end and some 14" apes.  The seat was hand tooled by me and then dyed and laced.  It was a first attempt at seat making that I think came out nice.  I am always finding things that I want to change on it so it is a continual project.  With the current parts on it as of 02-19-07 it is for sale.

Price $12,500

Bombshell

The bombshell bike was another bike that I built for Monte at http://www.maverickcustompaint.com  He had painted a set of fenders and a tank that he was using as  a display.  After several shows and people wanting the set, but not having a bike to put them on, we decided to build a bike around this set.  We found a 76' shovel that we decided to have some fun with.  I rebuilt the S&S shovelhead motor and transmission. We  put on a Perse performance front end, and changed out most of the parts.  I had to build custom fender struts and then painted them to match.  I took the original 2-into-1 pipes and made a couple of slash cut pipes out of them.  The bike is a great looking bike with a lot of detail work in it.
